Rules & Policies
Guidelines for a safe and welcoming makerspace
Safety Rules
- Complete required certification before using any equipment
- Always wear appropriate safety gear (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)
- Never operate equipment while impaired by drugs or alcohol
- Do not leave equipment running unattended
- Report any equipment issues or damage immediately
- Keep your workspace clean and organized
- Know the location of fire extinguishers and first aid kits
- If you're unsure about something, ask for help
Member Conduct
- Treat all members, staff, and guests with respect
- Be considerate of shared spaces and equipment
- Clean up after yourself - leave spaces better than you found them
- No harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind
- Do not share access cards or entry codes
- Report any concerns to staff or the Advisory Committee
Hours & Access
- Staffed Hours: Tuesday - Saturday: 10am - 4pm
- Basic members may use the space during staffed hours only
- Maker and Pro members have extended/24-7 access via key card
- Guests must be accompanied by a member and sign a waiver
- Pro members receive 2 guest passes per month
